In many households we are accustomed to having almost every fruit from across the globe on our supermarket shelves. At Union Market, where possible, we will always champion a British supplier.

Items such as lemons and bananas have become staple ingredients for many households, however we appreciate that our British climate doesn't support their growth therefore we do source these from abroad.

British fruits such as Strawberries, Plums, Blackberries, Apples, Damsons and Greengages, however, will only be made available as and when it suits our British climate.

All other fruits will be carefully sourced from what we consider to be the best and most appropriate methods.

Vegetables

You'll find the very best of British Veg at Union Market - with a strong emphasis on what is available in season.

We believe it makes sense to buy as much food as possible from our British farmers and food that is also in season according to the British calendar. For us, this means getting to know our farmers and understanding how, where and when their produce is grown.
